Publicity
Everedy Square & Shab Row will promote Art in August in local and regional print media outlets. Promotional postcards will be provided to each exhibitor for customer distribution upon your request.

Liability & Insurance
While Everedy Square & Shab Row is a safe neighborhood, each artist exhibits at his or her own risk. Neither the Everedy Square & Shab Row nor the City of Frederick is responsible for theft, loss, or damage of any artist’s work.

Dates and Notifications

• Applications will be juried monthly: May, June and July. Accepted, wait listed, and declined applicants will be notified by the 15th of the month following the receipt of their application.
• Contracts must be postmarked no later than July 24, 2009.
• Booth fee must be submitted with contract. Do not submit future booth fees with this application.
• Any accepted artist who does not return the contract and booth fee postmarked by July 24, 2009 will automatically be moved to the waiting list.
• Booth fee is non-refundable after July 30, 2009.

Standards
The Art in August committee will assemble a body of work that reflects diversity of offerings, quality craftsmanship and unique artistic expression. Eligible work includes fine art, fine craft and traditional craft.

1. All work must be designed and produced by the accepted artist with the exception of two-dimensional artists who may sell offset reproductions of original work.
2. Artists must be present with their work for the entire show.
3. Commercially manufactured items or items made from commercial kits, patterns, stencils, or molds may not be exhibited.
4. The artists must adhere to sales tax laws of the State of Maryland.
5. All work shown must be for sale.
6. Artists may show work only in categories approved by the selection committee.
7. Two or more artists sharing a booth must submit separate applications. Each artist must be present for the duration of the show.
8. Artists applying in two or more categories for one booth must submit separate applications.
9. The committee reserves the right to ensure a diverse presentation of the arts.
10. Booth design must be secure in wind.
11. No storage may be visible.
12. No pets please.

Step 1: Fill out the application form below.
Step 2: E-mail three color images of your artwork to: info@everedysquare.com. Please include your name in each image title, for example: "artistname_painting1.jpg." When you submit your emailed images, put your NAME and CATEGORY in the subject line.

Exhibition Fees
Standard: 10'x10' – $50
Deluxe: 10'x20' – $100
(Note that we are unable to provide electricity, tents, tables or chairs.)
